I don’t agree, I don’t believe desalination is expensive, or uses that much power. It’s a process of filtering the salt etc, not power usage. I’ll explain several facilities currently in use with smaller operations with minimal space. (By far am I an expert, would love to hear someone who is). e.g submarines and naval vessels. You will say they have nuclear power, so I will bring in cruise ships, all of which that have been built in last 15years or so use desalination of waste for purification.
Let me throw another high speculation, could Twiggy’s land grab, if for solar energy use, be used for part of PRL/Total green energy for producing green hydrogen? That would increase wattage out put and provide for him. Highly speculative and will most likely regret bringing that into this thread.
