what is the carrot for the card issuer (bank) to opt in?
Money$$ they get a percentage from the needy merchant who wants
-money for the sale upfront to no doubt improve cash flow.
-wants the customer to not abandon the sale, no credit approval, no pain for the customer.
Our PM scotty is getting paid to burrow money from overseas so there must be heaps available for banks to tap into.
