Back in 2009 I bought and held 10,000 CSL shares on margin...

Back in 2009 I bought and held 10,000 CSL shares on margin loan... thinking it was a defensive and safe share, but CSL did not move much at all for months and the AUD was higher than US$1 during that year plus majority of CSL income was in USD.... I was not patient and sold all < $35/share.

If you believe in SPT, the worst thing you could do is to sell at loss or tiny profit and then see it take off higher in 12 months or 5 years time. But this is all IMO.

People who have invested long enough all have story to tell.
