There is always a correlation between SPT and STTTF.

i have done what you are doing (sold at loss and bought back lower). It works at times. Bit like gambling as opposed to investing. But after a while, it became too tiring for me. And any shares that are heavily shorted, things can reverse quick (short covering) and only full time traders can do this well.

But this is my own experience. Dyor and decide whats good for your self
