thoughts today with a cold beer in hand...

Fair enough for those who get out and/or then come back

for me -- I'm still long with a company like this in a sector which is really in its take off phase; i do think we will end up with just a few winners (others will be bought out by bigger places and early movers).

    the pro's

the deals - all these deals and integrations SPT have announced are really just converging and gone live in June this year; I'm not going to list them as just reiterating the obvious and everyone is following the potential.

SPT continues to grow revenue, by what 300% in one year -- I get it, it's not good enough.. but i mean if this was a profitable company we would all be amazed by such growth in revenue.

    the cons

it's not profitable yet, at current rate could be 2-3 years (ok some of this is because of excess expense that comes with a company expanding, but yeah some is coming with high wages to management, before they have delivered (disappointment here) -- still put in context the management are recognised and experienced specialists, Ive searched hard and it looks like a decent team.

it's missed the BNPL boat -- depends how you look at it, I think it was a bit missed priced earlier, and I've maintained constantly it's a tech company and not a complete match to the rest of the sector; people thinking or hoping it's the next afterpay.. let's be real, if you understand the business this will never be an afterpay, but it will be a good business

the SP sux if you invested late and took up the $1.30 offer.. this is true, it hurts to see this on my portfolio... but this is just an emotion; it's time to be brave and invest the right amount of money in a company of this type -- yes it's high risk, and many big companies today in their infancy had similar price drops, short term..its getting a bit long now which is bothering me and that's why I'm giving it to the end of this financial year.

COVId has hurt everyone - gosh it's hard to know where to invest; ASX highest ever, people so scared straight into blue chips, the tech and BNPL sector will boom again, but this is just another risk element--- wars on the planet and covid changing the sentiment and people not risking on SPT -- at this moment.

if you believe in a company (SPT management who currently work there have bought up stock - inside buying recently) they seem to believe.. original investors have paid allot, one bought up a heap at $1.30+ and still holds. ok a original sold his shares at $1.40+ ... let's get over it, if you have been following he said he was going to do that at least 6 months before he did -- anyone focusing on these things is just hoping to continue the joy of shorting and that's fine, it just means in the end the company will either be successful and move to profit or not -- if it does, then is long holders will be rewarded -- but yeah not based on speculation any more for this company

All good signs -- some of us look at a chart and go, gosh that chart is going down, I'll get at now, try and guess the bottom and jump back in ... I think that's awesome, amazing, but yeah also I'm not that lucky to guess the bottom right - but good luck to ya, make some bucks best way you can.

for me too old and too tired -- just pick great stock and wait
