Its basic maths.
Interpreting/converting statements into mathematical equations is apart of primary school education and what was done with Ben Malones statement....the CFO.

Primary school example for you...
If little Nandan spent $50million in his first year and his business receives 2.2% margin of MSV as revenue, how much MSV does little Nandan need to process to "breakeven" the next year if expenses and margins remain the same.

As an addendum to this: if this company, which has about $12 mil income each year, grew its income to $50 mil per year and maintained its expenses at $50 mil per year, you as a shareholder would be content? (Representing just under $2.3 bil MSV, as opposed to last year's almost $500 mil)
