Until there is total regulatory clarity from the Australian Federal Government, any BNPL stocks will suffer from the uncertainty. If I understand it correctly, as SPT is actually using an existing credit card with an existing credit limit assessed by the card issuer, then SPT should be exempt and be able to reply on that credit assessment. But nothing is certain.
