One might think that the current board has no interest in the share price rising until the takeover is finalised. Pretending to oppose the bid is a joke when you take no steps to actively fight it. Then again they would have no credibility if they supported it as there are no gains in it for the GWR shareholders - only a dilution in value.
Is it just a coincidence that the Chairman's of the board holds the name of CON?
