my understanding is that the ore body is shallow and will be cheaper to mine than FEX. Plus resource has a higher grade than FEX. Local costs and componentary are apparently alot cheaper in Brazil than Australia and less red tape.
port costs seem to be locked in, however the cost of transportation to port is a bit up in the air IMO.
TI1 wont give all these details away until they have full clearance to start production. i kind of get it why they are remaining tight lipped about this money spinner, this info is commercial in confidence and could alter the way they are treated by suppliers and authorities etc. All the details will be released in good time and i reckon there will be more upside.
