thanks for your thoughts ex. always helps to get another's insight. well I reopened the short on bhp for what i sold for yesterday just after the open and so far i've got 20+ of my 68 cents back. as everyone knows bhp going up...so i'm being counter intuitive. the close yesterday looks like an exhaustion high to me. my stop is on at the entry price. problem shorting it is holding overnight and the gap up that could happen if the US indicies spike up. so i won't hold the short overnight, or that's the plan. if the futures start to dive that might change. so far the spi short is sweet.
