Our congratulations go out to St Barbara Limited for recognising the potential long-term appeal of Victorian high-grade gold. Yesterday, St Barbara took a strategic equity position in our partner, Catalyst Metals, in support of the North Bendigo (Whitelaw Gold Belt) exploration programs. According to the attached release, this funding from St Barbara will be used to accelerate exploration of the Whitelaw Belt which includes Navarre’s Tandarra Gold Project (Catalyst earning 51% by spending $3M over 4 years to September 2018).
Navarre is currently conducting a 3000m diamond drilling program at its 100%-owned Irvine Gold Project near Ararat, and we acknowledge a renewed interest for exploration success in Victoria in the shadows of ‘million ounce plus’ goldfields.
