This contaminated water story is not just about drinking water, its in everything. If used for agriculture, which it is, it is absorbed and retained in vegetables and fruit and anything that lives off the ground, like animals.
The Chinese people I know worry that a lot of their food is not clean or safe, and this is the opportunity for Australian companies like BFC. The huge middle class will pay a premium for clean imported goods.
I'm visiting China again on business this week, and I'm not looking forward to eating the food, even though the flavours are great. Also bottled water for me.
Oh and check your labels in our local supermarkets, there is plenty of imports coming from China.
