Na ------- I am at 450 metres --- a hot day is 22 (seriously)
We do get the odd 30 degree day - but, it's just an aircon day.
I could put the deck and wall sprinklers on and that floods the outside of the glass - that would cool things - but, it's just not an issue --
I could have run them this week to wash the snow and sleet off though
I did put a sprinkler on the roof of our house in Brisbane one xmas day when I was a kid - it was a real stinker and the veranda was unlined - just gal iron for the roof ---------- well, I never have forgotten that - the temperature dropped like a stone - instantly -
that was a lifesaver

do you mean a shack? - ie. a beach shack?
I had a beachouse (right on the beach) and the wind used to really power in from the ocean - carrying huge amounts of salt of course -
what amazed me was that the tank water just tasted fresh --- I have never worked out why.
