Michelef, your bee garden sounds delightful. Last week in the heat I poured some water from a water bottle I keep out there onto a dish as I noticed a baby bee around my tomato flower. It stayed for hours. I just bought two lavender plants to put near our bottlebrush where the bees come from.
We had to put our elder mare down last Sunday as she started to struggle badly. She let me know it was time. My snake chaser, plant eater has gone now. I've channeled my grieving into rebuilding my gardens and putting out the succulents, pansies and herbs back to the outside tables where they won't be eaten anymore.
Also looking for a large pot to make a pond again and grow waterlillies.
Husband is calling now 'potting mix is ready for you', lol. Good grief. He still after 30 years does not know to pot a plant.
