    I am in favour of a Rex O'Connor solution.
    If we can pipe gas, why don't we pipe water from the Ord to wherever it is needed. (It is downhill)
    I also support the poster who wants to plant trees. I think we might force the desert to retreat and perhaps make a small climatic change.
