We live in a fool's paradise.
It is patently obvious that we are facing a severe crunch over water.
In NSW I understand we continuously pump water from the Shoalhaven to keep Warragamba steady.
Goulburn has no water, the inland towns, little water. The Central Coast is placing portable desalinisation units on the beaches.
Cities have mysteriously been abandoned in the past and it may well have been due to water deficiency.
I have concluded that the State Government's policy is to pray for rain daily on sitting days.
The Federal Government's lack of leadership is breathtaking. And don't tell me that Turnbull is doing more than talk.
Now Cubbie's dams are empty, the Feds will probably buy it back for several hundred million before the next election.
