Just going through the info on the BHP Steel demerger. From what I can tell, BHP shares are now "ex" entitlement to the Steel hive off. Is it correct to assume that the market has now factored in the Steel demerger and that current BHP prices should be trading at a value that reflects the removal of the Steel division?
What is the likely issue price of BHP Steel shares? Trying to figure out if I have lost money in this deal of made money?
