This is Mr Lincoln Augustus, first second cousin of holymagiman

We have been doing a spot of fishing today, all of us, in one little boat off Montego Bay, and now we are waiting for the catch to be finished cooking. life is perfect, is it not.

We saw lots of big boats floating around today and we saw lots of fishies swimming around too.

And it is a fact that we all thought that there was more water in that there ocean than there had been before, for the boat was riding higher.

So we were not surprised to hear on the radio that the global warming is making the water levels of the seas go up, higher and higher, just like many of Holymagiman's clients.

got us thinking that as the oceans get higher, them rivers that drain into the oceans going to be carrying a lot more of influxed brine as well, and them areas close to the river mouths are slowly going to become too salty.

and that got us thinking of dry countries like austria, where the rivers are slowly drying up. Gosh, those rivers must be getting quite muddy, and sludgy and full of all sorts of bad things as they dry up.

So it is no wonder that the Government there has put a restriction on all those farmers from sucking up the valuable water to water their oranges and their apples and their rice and their cotton and their ducks and their geese and even maybe to have the occasional bath.

For who wants rivers to get depleted of water and slowly become more concentrated with all sorts of bad things for various people such as a dead cow (bad for hindus), or a dead pig (bad for muslims) or a dead choir boyo (bad for the Catholics)or a couple of dead ducks (bad for everybody), etc, etc.

So it is goood that those water ration restrictions have been finally discussed to put in place, so that the farmers learn to farm more careful, and they charge more for their produce, and the Austrians learn that food is a necessity that costs more to produce, and so they don't just waste their food and eat less, so we don't have so many big fat Austrians walking around upsetting the gravitational rotations of the world.

    All perfect.

So what does this have to do with eastern star and coal seam gas, you may ask me.

Well, Baboo mentioned that your austrian Government is going to make some sort of announcement about this coal seam FIDdles in the next week or so.

We thought about it and we understand that there are massive water disposal problems for all the coal seam miners (eccept for metgasco)

Now, if it had been proposed previously that this coal seam water be cleaned up and pumped into the waterways, we would have expected those very farmers( whose water ration has now been cut) who normally oppose everything (except themselves, and what they think would make them a dollar)to have screamed and hollered more loudly that Alvin did when he fell into the mud pit last summer.

But now their water is going to be cut, and they are hollering and screaming about that issue.

So the family would not be surprised if one of the conditions of the FID demanded by your austrian government is that is that the companies clean up their coal seam water and pump it into the rivers and streams, thus

    1. effectively raising the 70% that the farmers can take from the rivers

    and

    2. at the same time solving the huge problem of the coal bed methane water disposal.

Can't see the farmers whinging on that now, that is for sure, as they will now have a selfish interest to fulfill.

Perhaps the coal seam companies could even SELL the purified water to those farmers....should make a tidy impact on the bottom line, that is for sure.

The family thinks that your Austrian government is run by a few people who can think laterally for once, and we hope that we are correct on this call.

And if this is how it will work, it is going to do the whole coal seam sector a world of good.

save the rivers, satisfy the farmers, and get the LNG projects have one less problem of water disposal.

Water, water everywhere, but the mariner has lost his albatross at last.

    Checkmate.

    Blessing of the Lord
