    Firstly he is not a white knight, but a wolf in sheep's clothing. IMHO he realised he couldn't walk the walk. It's beyond his capabilities so he took the easy road. If yes vote gets up he will come out beating his chest that he is the saviour of the east coast gas crisis. While simmering away will be the realisation of what he has done. Just my thoughts.
