Gold is good atm, but have to take into account there operations. Ravenswood – struggling. GP – going to need some serious money soon. Remember it was only built for a 8 year mine life, so plant not really going to last for the the extended life as well. Also, still not sure exactly of what they have got down there. Add to that problems with mining contractor and there is some food for thought. Syama – costs will continue to increase there, especially power to site. Also, ore body is not ideal, so lots and lots of risks there.
Thought they would be better trying to finance some other way than selling possibly there biggest future asset.
