without a word of a lie - but the other day watso cooked a curry from "beef schnitzel slices " dated 28.05.20 .. rtc price was $2.26 - save $6,81..
the meat had been stored in the fridge (ie not freezer) in a vacuum sealed pack and the meat looked as fresh as the day it was packed
anyway watso had 2 or 3 meals from the curry - is still alive and did not suffer any other adverse effects ..
the other day, watso was having a few beers with his good mate MOSES - and he was reminiscing of his days in egypt (that was before god gave him the 10 commandments ,, in tablet form ) .. and he mentioned that the egyptians stored their grain for donkey years ..
oh the 10 commandments - god gave them to moses in tablet form - but sadly they did not have the technology back them to store tablets the way they do today .. if they had blister packs then - the tablets would have been preserved ..
lucky that watso found a missing r when rummaging through the panty drawer .. and all of a sudden watso had a pantry . . . on abc radio this morning there was a story about the amount of food wasted in australia .. comment about best before, or use by blah blah
when watso lived in europe (that was a long time ago) .. the thunderbox was under the main roof of the house - and a few chooks in a pen next to the thunderbox - and also under the main roof ..
made perfect sense really - .. snow and icy cold in winter -- so it makes sense to have the chooks and thunderbox under the main roof ..
