    G'day BULTANA,

    That was the story in one Sunday rag, in the other it said the selectors had not met to consider the matter and had not offered SW the opportunity of continuing as captain.

    My view is that SW should retire on top, he has nothing to prove and his performances are likely to be down hill from here making his exit more of a whimper than one of glory. It will also give a new captain the chance of getting close to the players and establishing his authority whilst touring - much easier to to that on tour than in a home series next year, which I am sure the selectors will be considering.

    Looks like the poms might win this one. Vaughan is looking like a superb batsmen that will be around for another ten years.
