Hmm I agree macca the people who are installing the sensors are well trained and have vigorous protocols they have to follow(just watch aircraft investigations to get an inkling of this its really regulated).
As such if the installer installed it incorrectly then its not SMNs fault IMO.
I think we all have to realise that we all sit here thinking oh what if this or that happens etc, but hey dont you think all the experts, engineers, labs etc would of thought of all the scenarios they are the experts not "us".
I know TC was at pains to try and show that we have approval from the authorities this is big this is huge but I really dont think us laymen truly understand the significance of having the tech being approved as AMOCs and written in service bulletins.
I guess time will tell and it may take another 6-18 months to really see the significance of this IMO
