Further to that, from the SA govt announcement of 11/02/2009:
"Mr Rann says a group that has been piloting fully-submerged wave power technology in Western Australia for some years, Carnegie Corporation, has this month been issued with the State’s first wave power licence by the State Government.
The licence, signed today, will allow Carnegie to test a site along the Limestone Coast in SA, near Port MacDonnell, with a view to building a demonstration 50 MW wave power station.
“Whether this is the right site will depend on these tests, but Carnegie is one of several emerging companies taking up the challenge of providing a new form of base-load sustainable energy.
“It is one of two companies looking to South Australia to trial its wave power technology along our coastline, and we want to encourage others to do the same.
“Our message to these companies is that the South Australian Government will do all it can to open the way for renewable energy investment in the State.""
I note that the Wave Rider Energy Ltd site is at Elliston and this is on the other side of SA (WA side) from the Carnegie site, Port MacDonnell (Vic side). I assume therefore that Wave Rider Energy Ltd is the other "one of two companies looking to South Australia to trial its wave power technology along our coastline".
