well, I doubt if they'd ever swallow that lot. And as far as the UN goes - the USA is the problem. As normal, if there's trouble, the Brits will be in there historically somewhere and lately America - that's an odds on bet.
IMO the only way forward for Israel is to come to the idea that 'Israel' is a bad idea. At least that Israel as a 'safe haven' for Jews all over the world is a 'safe haven' - which is what they designed it for in the first place.
Israel will not come to that easily --------- but, the evidence is crystal clear that Israel has not, and can't possibly ever give Jews 'safety' nor a 'haven' --
at least not the way they are going.
After 75 years - with massive arming and protection from the mighty USA ----------- Israel has more enemies as it's ever had and they throw rockets and bombs and things at it still --------------- AND whilst the got a little tamer - now, their enemies and neighbours are hardening up again.
the secret lies with Jews themselves - the secret is this ---------- if you want peace, there are only two ways possible
1. somewhere else other than Israel or
2. Israel and Israelis must do things in a very very different way
it really doesn't matte who is to blame - what must be faced is that dropping Jews into the middle of millions of Arabs and how they have operated since that happened ------------- is NOT working.
75 years is long enough for an experiment. It's a fail.
If they managed to wipe out Hamas ------- it would be replaced. There's plenty in the waiting line.
