The cost per ounce was projected at 320 dollars over a seven mine life with the original BFS mining layout. That seven year target is probably now 9 years at current mining rates. If you changed the layout now you would have to increase development costs, which would increase your cost per ounce. It is starting to look very marginal, it seems to me that a lot of peaple are pinning there hopes on the new contractor being the answer to Smokey Hills problems.

Max, if you get the mine design wrong from the start it is all up hill from there. With a seven year mine life it is going to be very difficult, it has not performed to date so why will it perform tomorrow. In my opinion management have just created a bit of breathing space
