My estimates of their digital holdings puts them at about $18M AUD equivalent.
A P/E of <6 is pretty conservative for most sectors. Commsec puts them in 'software and services' which has an average P/E of 25.
Not suggesting that that's an appropriate yard stick (or even that that is the most appropriate sector to place them) but gives you an idea of how conservative their evaluation currently is.
Morningstars evaluation for today is 'fairly evaluated' at $0.23 but looking at their spreadsheet it's full of comparative data and a bunch of hyphens for DCC because they're not in the fiat space.
I'm not confident that anyone has had the balls to evaluate DCC, being a unique listing, on it's own merits rather than safe, traditional comparatives.
To my personal evaluations of the company, it has tracked a P/E of ~10 since June of this year. But now the disconnect is large. It should on that basis be at about $0.37.
Not sure what caused the scare.
