Yes I agree inclineal but on the other hand any company needs to only focus on what they can control not external matters like Trump v China - pining share holders - wanting a promo show with free hot dogs.
10 years is indeed a hell of a long time and mega bucks to boot however due diligence - local community - environmental concerns are the priority over jobs, economical benefits and company/shareholders.
There may well be good reasons for delays but I would not expect to hear anything until Feb/March whilst GGG - like many others take a "more than others" extended xmas break.
With that wait - markets falling heavily many are happy to sell all or some of their holdings only to top up at a lower premium before or when (Feb/March) when - if markets improve or announcements arrive.
It's not just GGG and us holders taking a bath - small caps are being hammered.
