I think what is not reported too is the growing underemployed in Australia. IMO people need to be careful what you wish for if you want the banks to fall over just to buy them cheaper as there will be mass sacking or reduction in hours of work in this sector which will have a flow on effects in the broader economy.
Most people have been paying more than their mortgage payments IMO since the GFC so this panic selling this afternoon below the capital raising is just ridiculous considering the RBA will have no choice but to cut rates to prop up the economy.
