Couldn't believe that JUM actually touched 4.5c today and IMHO JUM is cheap as chips at the current price of 4.9c.
This question to and response from the CEO :
    Mike,
The half yearly profit upgrade numbers looked a little low if you take a line from the numbers quoted in the September announcement last year - Would it be true to say that in your drive to accelerate growth of the customer base overseas that your spend on marketing was larger than normal......this would explain the lower than expected half yearly result ???
    Response From Mike:

That is partially correct, however there are also "after-purchase" costs associated with the new company settling into the new regime. Generally I would say the purchase was still very good for Jumbo and its given us many new opportunities. The first half year after the purchase is way to early to make any conclusions.

My thinking is that when the report comes out revenues will be strong but the spend on marketing and "after-purchase costs" will have been what kept the half yearly profits a little lower than expected.
With strong growth in the overseas customer base and "after purchase" costs out of the way it paves the way for a good year end result ........Also don't forget about a potential acquistion and the betting exchange licenses .

    Cheers,
    Manassa
