Too long for nuclear?? Consider that we will never get to 100% renewable. Sheer fantasy! The "too long" excuse is propagated by the Greens and some in Labor because they realised they couldnt get away with the 1980's adage of nuclear energy causing nuclear war. When people start to look at the life cycle of renewables from the amount of mining and environmnetal impacts through to the environmental footprints of the wind and solar farms through to the amount of waste produced and then rinse and repeat every 25-30 years. Never too long for common sense to prevail imo.
