It "won't happen" because there is legislation that stops it happening. I reckon you would remember the protests "what do we want, Uranium banned, when do we want it, now". Until a Government gets a mandate to repeal the legislation, nothing will change. The ALP don't have a mandate. Will the Libs and Nats run on pro-Uranium? I guess we will find out. If they do, get on NIMBY alert, who wants the plant? Who wants the waste? Coode Island? Anglesea? Wonthaggi? Maybe get some water out of the desal plant?
