Why is that an excuse to not do a RR?
If the major large shareholders supported the company they would take up their rights and all would be sweet. If they didn't they would be able to sell them to someone else who did believe in the company.
Sure I get that RR might in the current state of rules and regulations be "inefficient" and slower or "less certain" than raising capital via other means for companies. But that is not a problem with the concept and fairness of RR persay.
As the custodian of a fair and equitable trading system is that not a problem that rests with the ASX?
Why should shareholders have to deal with this "problem"?
Why doesn't the ASX do something about it?
