The message was clearly meant to be interpreted as it was received the market. As an assurance that the cycle of poor CR's was over.
There is only two ways to interpret this, either WP lied diectly to shareholders or his forecast expenditure guidance was missed. Either way Admedus has shown that it takes more than a good product to generate sharehilder value. It also takes solid dependable guidance with a degree of trust and confidence in the mamagement. WP has smashed both in one foul swoop.
I have wondered at times why there was no genuine interest from funds or big players in the past, but it seems that this is exactly why. Smart money doea not trust management until the balance sheet confirms what is said.
