There is a fault line in between the faux intellectual greens and the solid working class. They are two completely different materials loosley held together in the ALP.
As the greens become more demanding and try to damage the workers the fault line will crack open.

The ALP wont be able to bridge the divide by avoiding answering questions anymore.

Are they for gay marriage, closing the coal industry and closing the steelworks? Do they disapprove of Mc Mansions, private schools and private cars? Do they support open or closed borders? These questions can't be spun away much longer.
