I would say Michelle is too intelligent refer to Labor as goons (even though they are, especially the so-called Elder who makes me think of "Dumb and Dumber" every time I see his face). The really positive thing about having Michelle as Reserver Bank Govenor is she won't be told how to do her job. There was a very interesting article in the Australian lift out magazine a few weeks ago about Michelle's upbringing in Armidale NSW. Her parents described her as being very competitive and not one to be told what to do, obviously highly intelligent, as she was accepted to study Medicine at Sydney University but had a last-minute change of heart (and I think school Dux by memory). Interesting that the Treasurer got rid of Phil Lowe who did a perfectly adequate job as Reserve bank Govenor and replaced him with Michelle, who like Phil continues to operate independently. Maybe he thought she might tow the line?
