Shareholders May Not Be So Generous With Quickstep Holdings Limited's (ASX:QHL) CEO Compensation And Here's Why
https://au.finance.yahoo.com/news/shareholders-may-not-generous-quickstep-214452591.html
"On comparing similar-sized companies in the industry with market capitalizations below AU$272m, we found that the median total CEO compensation was AU$464k. Hence, we can conclude that Mark Burgess is remunerated higher than the industry median. "
"Quickstep Holdings pays out 73% of remuneration in the form of a salary, significantly higher than the industry average. If salary dominates total compensation, it suggests that CEO compensation is leaning less towards the variable component, which is usually linked with performance."
FACTS.... PAID RIGHT AT THE TOP END EVEN THOUGH IT IS A SMALL MKT CAP COMPANY WITH SIMILAR SMALL REVENUE. WHY ARE WE PAYING HIGHER REMUNERATION THAN OTHER COMPANIES ~8X OUR SIZE? WHAT HAVE WE ACCOMPLISHED BESIDES A FALLING SHARE PRICE.
