The WBC SP cannot be explained by just the one scandal. it is almost priced as if there are many more around the corner. WBC received some great news this morning from RBNZ that almost extinguishes the fine. ANZ has already gone about 3% and WBC does not move up.
Unless the WBC SP does not move up with so much suspicious trading patterns on the ASX market, I would say WBC is pricing in many more scandals around the corner.
it is not just WBC, perhaps with the exception of CBA, they are all pricing in many more scandals to come across the Australian banks.
