Some market speculation about an asset swap, namely Westpac taking IFL’s platform business in exchange for BT’s in house advisors.
Haven’t looked at any numbers or a scenario analysis, however on a empirical basis, this feels like it would reduce IFL’s business quality with a more volatile earnings stream.
