I've heard whispers very recently that one of the Big 4 Banks is currently not meeting their deposit reserve ratio, and as such, is now overexposed.
Consequently, it is apparently panic stations at their senior level as they are scrambling to secure the cash necessary to meet the required reserve ratio.
I am not fabricating this, and I am not attempting to generate rumours or the like. And I am certainly not short on any of the Big 4. However, I would like to know if anyone else, particular in a senior banking position in this country, can shed any light on the above?
