Am I missing something? Aren't homes one of the most illiquid asset? Can't these big banks get into real problems if there is negative equity on houses and a sudden bank run? Can someone explain why we are fretting over a relatively small silicon valley bank? Really shouldn't matter to any Australian banks. I don't get it...
