There are a lot of cases of big banks not necessarily collapsing but just stagnating and carrying on with a much reduced SP. UBS/Deutsche/HSBC/BNP Paribas all tanked during the 2008 Crisis and have never recovered SP-wise. Lets just hope Westpac is more like the big American banks instead.
