I think it's too early to call the bottom pslally. It took a while for banks to the reach the bottom in GFC.
Do you think WBC improving its earnings in the next 12 months? Do you see prospects of increasing dividends?
Do you think highly leveraged US oils would impact the market if they can't pay back given the volatility in oil price?

I think it's dangerous to jump into banks purely for defensive reasons at present. I think it's unlikely that WBC will grow its profit in the next year. Who knows what happens after that? Wish you luck but it's too early to call return of bull market.
