Whoa what a crazy morning and then a crazy afternoon.
Watched the DOW plummeting this morning and it reminded me of the Dotcom crash, 9/11, GFC etc. The plan this morning was to buy 7,000 shares but could not control myself when Westpac started trading below $16. Money lying on the streets. Greed got the better of me and decided to borrowed money to buy more shares. Borrowed money for the first time in 10 years to buy shares and picked up another 27,692 shares at average price of $16.28 today.
Many years ago read a book called "The Zurich Axioms" and learned something special from this book. Bet hard and bet big.
When you are confident, you need to back yourself 100% by putting your money where your mouth is. Ignore all external noise and only listen to your inner noise.
It was great to see the market recovering this afternoon. Average cost is around $18.33 and no plans to buy more WBC shares next week but who knows how the future unfolds. Now it is time to sit tight.
