Dear Ben, that is a tough call. I can see where you are coming from and understand your attitude. The problem is that the South Koreans (and the Taiwanese) are ahead of the game on the Wuhan Corona virus. They learnt from SARS and the swine flu. There are a lot of good documentaries on why the South Koreans are so effective on this. I doubt that it is about getting our assets at bargain prices. Sth Kore and Taiwan know the total commitment to self isolation and that this will all take a long long time to get through..
