Today is the last day to participate in Westpac SPP and a wonderful opportunity to get up to $30,000 worth of shares at a price of $24.20~ approximately. This SPP price is super attractive and it is 6 cents lower than its recent low of $24.26 on Monday 25th November. How many of us have managed to add more Westpac shares at a prices lower than $24.20?
We will be paying $24.20~ approximately for SPP shares when current market price is 50 cents higher. Those of us not applying for SPP shares probably do not believe in picking up free money lying on the streets. Bank share prices have remained subdued for a while and they are long over due for a recovery. In my opinion Westpac is the best value proposition out there at the moment. Buy and hold and setup 100% DRP if you don't need the cash from dividends and see the value of our portfolios swell up when Westpac share price hits $41
