Best analogy I have is eMemory, as per usual by logic is VERY VERY LOOSE (revenue doesnt equal signings, but is an indicator)
- Q1 Licensing revenue of AU$10 million over 154 tape outs is AU$65,000 per tape out for licensing.
- Q2:Licensing revenue of AU$14 million over 171 tape outs is AU$81,000 per tape out for licensing.
- Q1: Royalty of AU$26 million over 1500 tape outs is AU$17, 333 per tape out per quarter
- Q2: Royalty of AU$28 million over 1500 ( no update to numbers in Q2 tape outs is AU$18,666 per tape out per quarter
Lets assume a product lasts 7 years, thats $70,00 licensing, and (7*4*$18,000) $504,000 royalty. So $575,000 per tape out (customer signing)
NeoFuse is their premier product, accounting for 33% of Licensing & 70 % of royalties.
The problem is we don't know how many tape outs there are for NeoFuse, or the price of each.
So best guess is Weebit ReRAM will be ten times more expensive than the average product of eMemory, as ReRAM should be a premier product for a while.
Therefore I guess each signing should result in a revenue of about $5 million.....over 7 years....
5 signings per year and the company is break even
10 signings = profit of $25 million
100 signings - profit of $250 million
1000 signings - profit of $2500 million
eMemory: Cumulative licenses: 7,400
