I totally agree dbd25. ASIC publishes the short figures based on information from the shorters themselves. ASIC's own disclaimer says, in effect, don't trust the figures. Clearly the shorters can inflate the figures to a large degree to convince retail shareholders either to sell or refrain from buying. Anything can happen on ASX.
The only way I know to beat the shorters is hold very tightly to your holding of WBT. Good news will come and so will the profits. It just needs time and patience, but make up your own mind.
