Cost will be crucial for Weebit too. Can they produce cheaply enough to sell at low cost and attract high volume sales? I expect that Weebit will have to subsidise early sales. Profit will only come with high volume sales.
Then down the track, for the standalone memory, they will look to start adding layers in 3D: will this technology stay cheap when they add 4, 8, 16 etc layers or does a different technology scale better/cheaper?
Lots of unknowns.
