It goes on to say:
If ReRAM could be designed to have an unlimited number of read/write cycles, it could easily replace multiple memory technologies to become the first truly universal memory.
Weebit has proven unlimited read but only 1 million write cycles. That's not enough for the automotive market (Fujitsu's FRAM for example offers 10 trillion writes).
So we can say with confidence that Weebit's first embedded product will target the same apps as Fujitsu's ReRAM product but with 128Kb instead of 1Mb. At least we can be realistic about the initial sales potential.
